3 alterations to the French Pleat

For this design i took elements from my image relating to the word 'decaying' i used the texture in the image as my main inspiration as i began creating the outline of the texture with a black pen i decided to add paper and string to really bring to life the varied texture within the style of which i would use techniques such as crimping, curling and frizzing while still keeping in the silhouette of the French pleat using a small frizzed curl at the top to indicate the original structure of this.

This is my creation of the french pleat inspired from the word 'Romantic', i loved the loose waved bouffant at the front of this style from the original image i took the shape large and away from the head as not for the style to look tight and sharp i wanted the waves and curls to drop down the side of the face and back creating a soft feel. I have created a large curled effect at the top of the french pleat, to me this indicated the large barrel curls and almost creates a rose like shape a symbol of the word 'romantic'.

This design uses elements from the image i collected of the word 'cold' i loved the finger wave design within the hair style, using a white pen to enhance the colour i would want to use i created two small wave designs down the side of the face keeping the shape very sleek and close to the head. I further created a pointed to end of the deign to create interest at the back contrasting with the waves and again keeping in with the sharp, tight feeling of the design.
