Initial response to Claudia & Quentin through visual refernaces

     

Above is my initial interpretation of Claudia as a visual character the images are taken from my Pinterest board- http://www.pinterest.com/milliejohns/claudia/.
I imagined the character taking inspiration from the idea of femme fatale woman in appearance that she is control of her image looking the glossy, perfect, sleek and precise within both her hair and makeup. I want the idea of the character to be abnormally perfect everything about her is in place almost so much that its slightly odd showing her psychotic persona. Although i imagine something about the character says unstable and uncomfortable.

When thinking about Quentin i was drawn the the image of the character being invisible and the figment of Claudia's imagination shown about through the slow shutter speed images from my Pinterest- http://www.pinterest.com/milliejohns/quentin/. I want Quentin to hold ideas of transparency always moving and changing characters dependant on how Claudia is feeling within the moment an element about him is tangled. I want the two characters to look similar quentin holding that sharp clean cut sleek feel but in his own way. I imagine something about the image say not in control although the hair and main elements are precise to fit within Claudia.

I image the overall feel of the final photos to be slightly dirty like there living in a squat never moving but to glamourise this a make the precise perfect elements within the characters stand out.
