I loved this shoot i felt the the whole look pulled together so well and just all blended and clicked together. The styling i was very happy with in the day we experimented with a few different outfits and felt that the mesh top covayed the grungy gothic style i was after in a simple way that matched the sleekness of the hair and makeup but still conveyed that rough urban feel. (i couldn't get hold of the accessories i had initially planned to use)
I loved the final effect of the string lashes on the bottom lash line with the wet look curls onto the face and felt that the symbolism's to the grudge and that paranormal genre of film was conveyed. I felt that certain elements of the look such as the glossy perfect wavy hair and the glossy ombre lip are parts of the look that will relate to the music video target audience making the look relatable and appealing people will want to look like her. I was pleased that i chose a model with blonde hair and i felt that the contrast of the dark string and lip stood out more creating a glamour to the overall look.
Below i took some more images as i was really enjoying shooting this look, we played around with different locations and poses that i had explored in my research. I love the green plant background i could imagine that in the music video Claudia would have lots of these plastic green shiny plants around her. I love the poses i feel that the look on the model face really shows a trapped atmosphere like she wants to escape and is stuck being possessed by this bad spirit of Quentin yet you still get the idea of the femme fetale woman with the sexualised gloss of the lip and wavy hair.
