Alexander McQueen Fashion & The Gothic Horror

I felt that i had to bring in the amazing work of McQueen i spent some time looking at his website and instantly you get that gothic horror atmosphere when entering the site finding his work very inspiring for this project.
His current work advertising Spring Summer 2014's collection , normally within most other fashion site they have there pastel spring collections displayed but McQueen keeps within the horror experiance showing Kate Moss within this apartment looking mystical and as though she could be the lead in the latest horror film in some images clutching a doll that looks like her. This shows how again you can convay that horror feel but for a fashion audience these images could almost be Claudia sitting in her apartment waiting for Quentin.

I further began looking at this past Collections and found a clip from his Autumn/Winter 2013 collection i was instantly draw to this image as its like the hair i was initially thinking of for Quentin the tight wet look finger wave tight across the head.

Above is the Catwalk show to me the could almost be a horror films its self taking elements such as the music and adding styling such as the clear masks create a very unsettling and eerie atmosphere furthermore the setting of a empty old warehouse/ train environment creates that gothic horror experience. I love this show and feel very inspired by the video showing how fashion and horror can come together to me this is how i would like some elements of my music video to be.
