Evaluation Gothic Horror

I have thoroughly enjoyed this project ‘Gothic Horror’ I feel that I instantly grasped the theme and characters Claudia & Quentin and was exited by the idea that the final images were being created for motion image within a Music video.

I found that due to the short time span I began thinking about the characters designs a lot quicker than I usually would have and found looking back that I would have liked to do a lot more research on the theme looking more in depth in all gothic horror areas of  art, film and historical rather than my main concentration witch was on films and music videos and fashion. 

I was very pleased with my outcomes of both Claudia & Quentin I felt that I created my own quirks and understanding of the characters within the styling while keeping to the brief about their personality’s and situation. I feel I have shown all my paranormal research through my final designs while keeping within the 'gothic urban horror' style that appealed to the fashion audience of that of a music video rather than adding in lots of gory prosthetics.
I particularly liked my Claudia design I thoroughly enjoyed shooting this design and felt that the outcome showed my technical development through the project.
Overall learning new techniques for fashion images in hair and gothic horror techniques within makeup I feel I have pulled together all elements from class and personal research and experimentation creating two final designs that appeal to my target audience suiting the motion image context.
