Creating the Femme Fetale Practical

In seema's lesson we were put into group one person is the group leader directing the rest of the group to how to create there initial Femme Fetale design for the development of Claudia. The other person was to create the look with direction from the team leader and then the third was the model.
My team leader was Georgia she wasn't too sure what she was going for and began playing around with a hair piece a long black straight pony tail. Our model had short black hair i was directed to dry the hair smooth by pulling the hair with the brush and using the heat of the hair dryer to smooth down the hair follicles. We were directed not to use any hair spray or straighteners to smooth or hold the hair. I created a middle parting and pulled back into a low pony tail, as georgia changed her design at the last minute we had to take this out and adjust the pony tail into the centre at the back of the head and to fit the hair piece on because of this i felt it wasn't as smooth a finish as i would have liked it. I was further then directed to barrel curl all the sections of the pony tail.
I liked the final outcome our feedback was positive although were me and georgia had barrel curled a side each the curls sat irregularly and lower on my side than hers and this created a imbalance to the overall look witch suited our models face very well. I enjoyed this lesson taking direction and perfecting that sleek strong look within a short amount of time this contrast between the sleek curls and the tight sleek pull to the hair at the front i feel looks very effective.
