The Smoky eye
Step 1: Starting from the outside point of the eye work up to the end point of the brow, then move to the middle section of the eye and draw a line connecting to the end of the line just drawn, then line the inside of the eye.
Step 2: for the underneath of the eye draw the line using either a kohl or liquid and join the line up to the top line, then you can use eye shadow to contour and shade, or use a kohl in the inner eye to create an intense cat eye look.
Below on the left is the demo on myself by Yvonne she created a cat eye look the other line underneath was to show how you can adjust the look. The look on the right was by a girl in my class as i did not have enough time to practise the technique i felt that she didn't look at my eye shape to complement it and this is very important when looking at creating an eye look on your model.
The perfect Lip
Step 1: Add a slight bit of foundation onto the lips so you can create the lip shape you want rather than what the model actually has, start at the cupids bow and create you points then starting from the inside corner of the lip join the line up to the top point of the cupids bow. For the bottom lip do the same starting from the inside corner and bring it into the centre make sure you keep the line straight and don't create a big curve over the lip line.
Tip: If the lips are small add a lighter colour in the centre. the lip had two natural line a dark natural line and a lighter one if the model has big lips go with the dark natural line if small go with the liner natural line. Make sure you look what the model already has and think what look you want to create!

This was my practical partners design idea creating the lip she then improvised and practised her initial design ideas for Claudia I didn't have enough time to swap and create my own. The lip idea i suggested as this was an element in one of my initial design ideas i like the effect and feel with her overall look it all is very simultaneous although with my idea it was a little out of place i feel i need to develop my idea development for Claudia further.
From this lesson i wanted to explore the ideas i had created myself with the smudged lip and creating an effect that looks out of place within the overall aesthetics of the deisgn. I began to explore creating the perfect smudge so it almost looks man made in relation to what Laila was looking at above exploring more a messy out of place smudge, i wanted it to look as tho Claudia had deliberately wanted her look to create a wary feel to her as tho she wanted people to think somethings wrong and almost stay away. I feel this further explores my ideas within horror ghost films as tho she is being possessed by something and its making her look like this, i would like to further my research on The paranormal and develop this idea.
